Za’Atar NGO opens a Syrian restaurant in Athens

Three weeks ago BRIDGES’ partner Za’atar NGO opened a Syrian restaurant to provide training and job opportunities to refugees. Za’atar is training them to improve their Greek language and cooking skills. The restaurant has an eco friendly approach: it doesn’t serve meat, is mostly vegan, uses pasta straws instead of plastic ones, and eco-friendly cleaning products.  The restaurant is growing and Za’atar is in the process of recruiting more workers!
