On the 5th and 6th of June, Za’atar participated in the 7th Network for Dialogue Meeting in Stockholm, Sweden. During this conference, members of the Network discussed the importance of interfaith and intercultural dialogue and had the opportunity to know God’s House (Guds Hus), a meeting place in a common building for Christians and Muslims. God’s House aims to create meeting places where people have the opportunity to discover how much we have in common, regardless of beliefs or ways of life. From their point of view, living isolated and separately maintains and promotes prejudices, as it is only when people connect that we can create the conditions for tolerance and respect of others and find some joy in both our differences and commonalities. Network for Dialogue is a group of faith-based and civil society organizations working through dialogue for the social inclusion of refugees and migrants across Europe.
