Last June 3rd, the “Migrant Memories” Workshop was held by Catalina Álvarez, a PhD student in UAB and a member of Barcelona PAR-group in BRIDGES. This workshop is part of the “Visual Memories” Project, promoted by Xarxa Poblenou and the BCN Anti-rumor Strategy of the Barcelona Interculturality Program. In this training workshop, she approached the concept of migrant memory from a critical perspective, emphasizing the construction of mobile memories that manage to cross borders and build unexpected bridges between territories, temporalities, subjects and meanings.
