The BRIDGES’ colleagues Marisela Montenegro and Catalina Álvarez, both from the UAB, participated on November 28th in a round table dedicated to “Methodologies for a rebellious memory”, within the Conference “Dissenting History. Decolonial memories, rebellious memories”, organized by the Barcelona City Council. Together with Esther (Mayoko) Ortega and Seo Cizmich, the companions shared interpretation frameworks, listening methodologies, and theoretical and activist tools that have made it possible to open a plural understanding of collective memory and its representation. In this round table, strategies used by various groups to revive and transmit memory from decolonial, militant and critical perspectives were discussed.
