Next July 7th, a representative of the BRIDGES project will participate in the Imiscoe Conferences, organized by the Imiscoe PhD Student Network. The Imiscoe Conferences aim to provide support and contacts to junior researchers to help them shape their future of teaching and research. This year, the Imiscoe Conferences topics are focused on the intersection between research, communication and social change, and one of them takle inclusive teaching, which points to strategies for teaching sensitive and contested topics, decolonizing the curriculum and the creation of welcoming and inclusive classrooms. The BRIDGES’ representative will meet up online with a group of PhD students and junior researchers to share some experiences and insights.
